Roadtrip Perth to Darwin - Part 7

Day 17

Since we knew that this day would be driving and driving, we stopped first at Zebedee Springs again and then we started driving towards Lake Argyle.

Zebedee Springs

This time, I climbed up the mountain so I could see the springs from the top. It was easy to go up but on the way down I had to work a bit harder to keep my balance... I didn't really want to fall down where Angela was drawing haha. It was good though, and then I went to one of the holes and stayed under a waterfall for a while.

On the way, we stopped at a place called Five Rivers.

Five Rivers lookout

From that lookout, you can see five rivers of course and how all of them meet at some point.

Wyndham

On the way to Wyndham, we saw a bushfire. There was a massive bushfire in the Bungles and we didn't know for sure if we would be able to go. We were on our way but we received a call saying that the National Park was closed and we changed itinerary.

So after Wyndham, we went straight to Lake Argyle, passing through some bush fires.

Lake Argyle

We arrived at the campsite and we were all really tired of the whole day driving. However, when we saw the swimming pool, our tiredness disappeared haha

At night, we played a game again because our lovely couple was so into preparing fun games for the group haha and we were actually so into playing :)

Day 18

We got up the next day and we went for an excursion at the lake. We caught a boat and we cruised around the lake, we saw baby crocodiles and we jumped from one of the cliffs that surrounded the lake.

After the boat trip, we started driving to Katherine and we crossed the border of Western Australia with the Northern Territory.
